This is my entry for this weeks Just For Fun
which is Looking to the Past.
I chose a photo of my Mam form the 60's outside of her first home
after she got married. This was the house I was born in
it was actually a two storey upstairs flat and my Mam still says to this day it was the best
house she ever lived in although shes in a 4 bedroomed detatched now lol.
I sprayed the base cardstock with perfect pearls and it gave it a slight
sheen
I also sprayed a touch of it on these dark red flowers
I added my title , a stamped eye and a a quote
Apologies its a quick entry Ive been busy of late
but didnt want to miss joining in
Thanks for stopping by and for leaving a comment its much appriciated

If this was a quick entry - bring 'em on is all I can say.
Love how you have interpreted what your mum said about the home you were born in with the eye and the words underneath. A very well thought out piece Jaqi.
Glad you joined us.
Hugs, Neet xx
Love your pages always such a treasure and record. Guess although it was small it was a very happy home. Thank you for sharing with us at Just for Fun XOXO Zoe
Oh Jaqi, what a lovely page. The background looks like old wallpaper. xx
I really love this layout - tearing the paper really gives it all depth! I love the piccy too x
Another great layout Jaqi, was that pic outside the shop?, I dont think your mam has changed much...
It is a beautiful page. Your mum sounds about the same age as I am and I started out married life in a caravan and I still love going on holiday in a caravan. We were easily pleased in those times:)

Hi Jaqi...tiz I!!! Been looking through your blog, admiring your work, but I have to say my absolute favourite things are those Christmassy wooden blocks you did at the end of November. They're brilliant!
Always in awe of your vintage photos and scrapbook work though...
