Finally I managed to use another browser which has enabled me to upload my pictures
This is the 2nd layout for this months design kit
for the Scrapbook Garden
and the technique is paint dabbers.
Once again on this layout also I used the dabber for
2 examples of its use.
The first was to paint up a rubber stamp with the dabber and stamp the image onto a tag.
White on white didn't show up that well you can vaguely see the stamped image
I used a heat gun to set the paint
Then using a selection of distress inks I completely covered the tag
and also the stamped image
Then i spritzed some kitchen towel with cold water
and gently rubbed the ink away from the stamped image
the ink doesnt stick to the paint so its easily wiped away
revealing the image below
Even after wiping the ink off you can go back many times and
add more colour and keep wiping until you get the desired colour
Next I ran some of the green cardstock through the cuttlebug
and embossed the Bingo image onto it
Using the paint dabber and gently brushing over
the embossed image the paint attaches to the raised area
Giving a distressed finish to the embossing
Starting with the 12 x 12 I layered the tag
photo image matted on the green cardstock and also the
for the record borders paper
then the embossed image and the bingo
image from the borders paper also
adding a wooden button to look like a bingo chip
with some white 12 x 12 cardstock i cut a series of triangles
and added them to the layout
highlighting the corner ones with some borders
triangles also
I then cut my Win Win title from the green
card to finish off the layout
Thanks for popping by my blog and for leaving a comment as always its much appriciated
