Lots to do - Vintage
This is my entry for the challenge this week at Lots to Do
I have had this particlar photo on my table for a couple of weeks.
When I saw this fabulous red and gold paper I knew it would be perfect for this picture. I also had an idea of where I wanted to go with this but the finer details were a little vague.
The two red circles were cut ages ago and placed on the layout with the picture but that was as far as I had got. I decided as the theme this week was Vintage it would be a good idea to finish off this layout.
Ive added some stamped harlequin images , the ink was Royal Satin Kaleidacolour , a rainbow ink pad of delicious rich colours. Ive used it often and love the colours in it.
Also I added some lace and some hardware from Ranger and some memory tape.
I used my dads old typewriter to put the text on a journaling paper to keep that old feel.
The photo is of my Mams cousin Amalia Augusta Douglas and her Father George Douglas in costume when they were on the stage.
It has a slight Gypsy feel to it , although I have no idea what the play was or indeed what the year was.
Im pleased with my page , so I hope you like it too.
Many thanks for stopping by my blog, and I hope you have a lovely weekend.
