The Scrapbook Garden- Crate Paper

This is my layout for the Scrapbook Garden , using Crate papers.
I apologise Ive been away for a couple of weeks , ive been decorating my sitting room and Im afraid it took me alot longer than I had hoped it would.
But finally Ive made a start on my latest kit.

I chose this paper from the kit as I thought it went well with the photograph I had chosen.
Its the Crate paper portrait collection -Bouquet.
I also used the Bazill Dotted paper in Honey , and the Crate paper portrait collection - something blue (although its red)

I did the title in inchies which spell the name my Grandmother went as which was 'Bella' Her name was Isabella but everyone knew her as Bella. I used the inchies so that I could tie it in with the challenge over at Just for Fun which this week was inchies.
I used black embossing powder to do the name as I wanted it to stand out against the brightly coloured crate paper.

I added the photo , stamped quote ( which i wasnt sure about, it looks like bad handwriting yet its a rubber stamp, maybe this was a purchase I shouldnt have made) some other embossed images of a cuppa, a cupcake and the little quote 'Big Smile' which was something she always had.
I think my Dad must have taken after his Mum as he had this same smile , and when i look at this picture it reminds me of him so much.

The papers were lovely to work with , the quality is great , pop over to the Scrapbook Garden and check out the range, theres loads to choose from all great colours and styles and as I said before the quality is lovely.

Thanks for stopping by my blog its much appriciated, Ive some other things made and they will be on here over the next few days.
