Lots to do - Leaves & Trees

This is my entry this week for the Lots to Do Challenge which is leaves
I have made a very simple anniversary card for my friend but it does have some leaves on the bottom corners.
They are Bazzill Basics paper leaves and they are really good quality I love working with them. They come in a variety of sizes in the one packet.

Next is a page from my daughters memory album , picture of her and her late father having fun. On here I used skeleton leaves which i find a nightmare to attach, they do adhere with glue dots but through time they stick to the plastic pages of the album so if anyone can give me any tips I would be grateful.

This next one is from my Disney album and its to represent the beanstalk that grows through the buildings in Fantasyland in Disneyland Paris. I know the leaves I have used are not beanstalk leaves but I think they make a pretty good alternative.

Lastly I have used the same leaves which are cut using a cuttlebug set of dies. The come 4 in a pack and I have used them on many projects.

Im sorry I have no trees to include in this post , but Thanks for stopping by my blog. Have a nice weekend.

Lots to Do - Alcohol Inks

This is my entry for this weeks challenge over at Lots to do which this week is Alcohol Inks.

Once again I used my trusted embossed butterfly which I adore.
I inked a piece of glossy cardstock with the inks and then cut out the butterfly and embossed it.
Then using scraps of papers left over from scrapbooking ( I waste nothing hehehe) I added them to the card.
I then added the finishing touches of the flower, initial and ribbon.

My card is all set to go off in the post for my friends birthday.

Thanks for stopping by my blog, have a nice weekend.

Lots to do - Embossing

This is my embossing for this weeks Lots to Do challenge.

I would be totally lost without my Cuttlebug I use it all the time .
This die cut and embossing set for butterflys is also a favourite of mine.
After I have embossed them I rub them with distress inks to get the colours to match my work.

These pictures are my grandparents on their wedding day , my grandmother as a young woman , and my mother as a young woman. They are all images from my vintage family photo collection.

Thanks for stopping by my blog.

Well these atcs are for the Artist Trading Club April Vintage.

The images I have used are all family members from my supply of vintage photos waiting to be scrapbooked.

I feel they are a little bare , but ive messed about with them so much, far short of scrapping them and starting all over again they are going to have to stay as they are im afraid.

Thanks for stopping by my blog.

Anji's Birthday - & Lots to Do , Black & White

This sketch was drawn by my daughter Hannah , a gift for my friend Anji for her birthday.

This is a mini book that I have just made for my friend Anji.
It goes with the card that I entered for this weeks Lots to Do challenge, Black and White.

Anji adores Michael Jackson and this book holds images of Michael dressed as Charlie Chaplin.

I would like to say Thank you to Carol, who came to the rescue with the stamped image of Charlie Chaplin that I was having trouble getting a hold of.

Its a shame I cant load all of the pages , for some reason blogger is rotating them and I cant figure out how to keep them the correct way up.....I havent had this problem before .....

The drawing at the very top was done by my daughter who is trying to perfect her drawing skills as she would like to be a tattooist specialising in portraits.

Thank you for stopping by.

Lots to do Black and White

Apologies that this entry for Lots to Do - Black and White has been just that of a quick card.
Im working all weekend and my daughters dog came to live with us, which has made the weekend very hectic to say the least, but I still needed to make this card for a dear friend so decided to do it in black and white.

My Friend Anji adores Micheal Jackson and since the music and lyrics of Charlie Chaplins smile are appropriate, this decided the theme of her card.

Thanks for stopping by my blog.

This is brilliant , i love it !
